On this trip you will snorkel and free dive with sharks out of the cage under the professional guidance and supervision of trusted shark guides and marine biologists.

Depending on the season you will encounter four different species of pelagic sharks. Smooth hammerhead sharks, silky sharks, mako sharks and blue sharks. 

But not only sharks! This tour specifically targets sharks, but often we can see and swim with giant mantas, dolphins, orcas, whales, sea turtles, marlin, sea lions and mahi mahi. Our objective is getting in the water safely with all marine life. 

This awesome tour occurs a few miles offshore, in the blue waters of the Sea of Cortez and Pacific Ocean. Only 25 minutes boat ride from the Marina of Cabo San Lucas, safe and comfortable! 

Once on the spot, our certified shark guide will give a detailed briefing about safety rules and procedures, proper use of snorkeling gear and will explain how to interact with sharks in the best and safest way possible! Once in the water, the duration of the experience depends on the sharks behavior and on how long they want to stay around, but usually they stay for a very long time!

Silky Sharks

Curious and cool! They come really close and they live in huge schools, you can swim with lots of them at the same time!

Silky Sharks peak season: From May until December, big silky sharks aggregations (50+) July with multiple sighting on every tours 

Blue Sharks

The most elegant, cute and playful shark, is like a big puppy. They stay for hours around the boat, they swim slow and they come peacefully close to everyone!

Blues sharks peak season: From January until May with multiple sightings on every tours.

Smooth Hammerhead

Mysterious, elusive and unique, a prehistoric animal! A rare shark species, a powerful interaction with our biggest shark, the dream of any underwater photographer!

Smooth Hammer head peak season: February is good, but top months are from March through May.

Mako Sharks

The fastest shark in the world, and the most exciting to dive with! Pure adrenaline! The best shark experience you can have in the ocean, without the cage!

Mako shark peak season: December is good, Top months: From February until July with multiple sightings on every tours. On the peak season we have an average of 2+ makos on the same dive every dive.

Requirements

  • For snorkelling be at least 12 years old and in case of a minor to be accompanied by an adult. For shark watching no age limit
  • For Snorkeling no certification required
  • For scuba diving: advanced open water certification, 50 logged dives
  • Basic swimming skills
  • Basic snorkeling skills - know how to use snorkel and mask
  • Good physical conditions
  • Avoid wearing yellow, silver, white and red.
  • No shiny things, jewelery, hearing, etc.
  • Signing the responsibility waiver
